Today my family went to visit a friend whom I call "Mommom." She has been a surrogate grandmother to my brother and I and we have known her family for over 20 years. Since we are leaving Delaware day after tomorrow, we had to say "good-bye" to her, again. This will be the second time we move from this area.
I am thankful, though, that we returned to Delaware nine years ago because that allowed us to enjoy the last several years with her and her husband before she became a widow. Now, to keep her company she adopted a toy poodle whom she casually calls "Prissy."
Below are some photos I took during our visit.

Ms. Alty, Aunt Sue, Jonathan, and Mommom listen to Mom talking.

Ms. Alty, Aunt Sue, and Mommom talk to Jonathan as he grins, looking out the window.
Mommom sits in one of her living room chairs and listens during a conversation.

Prissy makes herself comfortable on Mommom's lap, one of her favorite places to lay.

Prissy falls asleep on Mommom's lap.

Prissy lies across the floor chewing her toy and curiously watches the camera.
